Barry's accent

This is Barry the Hyundai Accent 1.3 automatic (bari special edition).

I have become a bit of a hero by saving him from certain death at the jaws of the crusher.

 

How he came about, a young lad bought a Mondeo from me (came in the Hyundai) and said Barry was going for scrap and he was going to cash the tax.

The lad came from Holbeach and didn't really want his mate to drive the car back with no insurance.We agreed on a scrap value plus the tax which turned

out to be what it would make over the bridge anyway.

Barry has a few scratches,a little rust and a small dent on the passenger's front wing

There is no spare wheel, an exhaust blow from either the downpipe or fanimold and the interior smelled of stale piss.After a couple of sessions with Oust

and a vacuuming the seats are like this

 

I'm currently enjoying the one leggedness of a small engined car and raucous exhaust blow knowing that for Halfords pushbike money I can get from A to B

quicker than a pushbike and without getting wet.

Including almost a quarter of a tank of fuel £120.00. Not bad at all.

Incidentally if you stick a rubber ended (ooh err) broom handle or similar into the gap twit inner and outer wing you can actually make the dent look worse. Just thought you needed to know that.

Well I like it. Was considering one of these as daily transport before I found the Sunny.
