I'm not much of a Vauxhall fan, but the Mk2 was produced when Opel \ Vauxhall actually seemed to know what they were doing. Then the Corsa B turned up and I lost interest. To be fair, I have a cut off date for most of the major manufacturers when I stopped caring about their output. Peugeot for example - they haven't produced a decent car since 2000.

Your car however, I like. Not sure about the Rotas, but they're a good start. Some Isuzu Piazza waffles would look superb on it, or some Zender Turbos in gunmetal grey. It's also nice to see a car lowered properly with treated springs as opposed to a junior hacksaw. It sits right without looking decked.

Are you tempted to put a GTE digital dash in? They were the best thing about the Mk2 Astra in my humble opinion.

Staying away from matt black paint and chopping springs with a hacksaw would be a good start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111

You should get yourself a Fuzzy Felt set and keep it in the glovebox so you can decorate the engine bay appropriately with caterpillars and random houses (which is all I could ever make with Fuzzy Felt) at shows.

Damn I should have kept my fuzzy felt. I had the circus set, with sea lions.

Ooooops

Bye.

One more thing, young lad round this way had a boggo red Antibes, little crust on the arches and a tad pink as is standard issue but had a mint interior.

Lob an 8V 2.0 engine in, upgrade the brakes properly, lower it slightly, try and find a PCS full exhaust system, lob some Cav slabs or white Revo's on it and leave it right there.

Put a shopping list on the doors or fit neons/bodykits/stupid spoilers/rocket launcher exhausts/17" chrome alloys and I'll tip up outside your house at 3.00am one Sunday and modify your car with a baseball bat and several cans of Nitromors.

^Oh yes. Go for an SEH, they're tough as nails and respond well to tuning. You can even turbo them which works well in a sort of Heath Robinson manner. :)

If you can find one... C20SEHs (130 bhp) are getting a bit thin on the ground nowadays. The 'cooking' C20NE (115 bhp) will still give plenty of fun for not much cash though.
