We sold it on to a builder who ripped out all the seats inside and used it for his building firm (because it was a minibus it did not attract the £££ trade fee at the tip when he was dumping his rubbish).

It was quite sorry when we sold it, been round the clock once, holes in the floor, seats ripped and holes in teh dash where a tacho had been fitted. I believe it was scrapped.

The blue one met its end in Borrowdale at the hands of Malcolm and a dry stone wall.

Do we say 'Micra_shed' or 'Mi_crashed'?

I've often wondered...

Posted

Wellll, I say Micra_Shed. But hey, I dont mind really.

My first ebay sales were for a Nissan Micra (which was a bit of a shed) and a garden shed (which was a lot of a shed). So that became my eBay user name Micra Shed. Sort of stuck since then.

Ta, that makes sense!

About as much sense as the fact that I used to be Father Ted, and before that used to be Marty....

I have a kind of identity crisis thing going on.

Did you change your name 'cause folk kept mistaking you for an actual priest?

Posted

No, just streamlining my on line presence to one name, one Northern fat bastard, one load of shite posted....

I was wondering about all of the above! Thought it was Micra Shed!

I was wondering about that too! Liking your old Transit too! Reminds me of a local 'Bible Bus' my old work used to have to service B745JFS. LWB, twin rear wheels and utterly rotten. I particularly remember a hole in the bulkhead the size of a football and the smell of burning sound insulation as I 'watched fur fires' inside as it was being welded. I wasnt very good at that task!

Just thinking who else has changed their usernames on here?
