I'm going to work on getting an MoT on it first I think, makes sense to do that to better its chances of selling to someone that wants it. Mostly needs bolting together with the biggest expenses being a windscreen which is about £100 new, less if I can get a good second hand one, and the backbox which is about £30. I've realised I can't sell it until I've got a car to replace it with, whether that be the Princess which needs almost as much work as the Polo most likely, or a Maestro or whatever.

 

For all I was never going to sell this car, Austins have been the thing to change my mind. Up until driving the Princess and latterly the Maestro, I hadn't found a car that fitted properly (with the exception of a Mk2 Escort). Never going to make my money back on this car, or indeed make mega bucks, I know that. It'll be sad to see him go but at the same time I think I'll be glad of it. I suppose that's the problem when you have a project just sat around doing nothing, you end up growing to hate it or get bored of it.
