I've never understood why people cover up number plates, are these the people who have children with pixelated faces that I have seen pictures of in the press?

A heads up to you and other Kent area shiters, there is a classic/sporty car day at the Bush Blackbird and Thrush pub in East Peckham next Monday (June 4th). Last year's bash attracted an eclectic selection of veehickles. Ranging from a couple of Salmson roadsters to a drag racing Consul. I should be there with a DS or two.

Why not?

If someone's going to clone numberplates to steal fuel then it's easy for them to go on the net, google for a forum and just yoink a reg off there. Of course you have to display your reg on the car when it's out on the road but it just makes things that bit less likely.

Welcome lancialover :)

Hi Lancialover (aka Ashley)

Good to see you on here. And was great to see your Spyder last weekend. A truly rare car that, being a "proper" series one - even if it isn't beige anymore!!

My bets are on him driving a Nissan Almera.

Nothing wrong with an Almera *

* except when the clutch DMF needs replacing. £££££

I wish I was but it's a new purchase for me, hopefully I can take the Lancia to the next one though

Welcome, LanciaLover.

Thanks Progrocker and I agree there is nothing wrong with an Almera... Which unfortunately for me is the problem as I have a longing for idiotic cars.
