I would like to invite you along to Retro Car Mania on the 2nd & 3rd June over at Weston Park, Nr. Telford. The show is in it's 3rd year and brings together a great variety of Retro cars and Classics.

 

The main show day is on the Sunday, but you can camp on the Saturday and and take in the evening entertainment in the marquee along with licensed bar & caterers.

 

The show is at an amazing venue with over 1,000 acres of parkland and it would be great if autoshite were to have a stand or gathering at the event.

 

 

The event is run alongside Dubs Mania which is an air & water-cooled vw event, so there will be a great variety of cars on display and basically 2 shows in 1. However all the Retro & Classic vehicles will be parked together and separate from the vw's.

 

 

Anyone interested in putting together a stand? 8)

The event has been going 4 year's so we get a good turn-out of retro & classics and its a great venue for camping as well.

 

Hope you can make it along.

From past experience any show that is attended by the 'Sandals & Candles' brigade driving any sort of VW is one to avoid... perish the thought of spending a weekend in the company of Lentil eating , camper van unwashed types is a certain no-no.

 

Then of course the (T)wat look morons will be in attendence as well....

Don't worry Phil, they will all be at the Peterborough Green Festival, where they can get two helpings of misery (Peterborough and a Green Festival) for the price of one

Hmm, well, I'm originally from Telford and have planned (for a while now) to go up and visit family. If I have time I may have a peek but to be honest I've planned to get my radio wires finally done and worry abnout being put back on day-shift as those are the hours I've been given. Great :( At least I've still got a job I suppose.

I went and came home early soaked. There wasn't much there other than scene tax vw's. There was a nice mk1 metro on minilights and some 70's Austin Morris camper.

Funnily enough I missed this despite being in Telford. Besides, I dont think my car would have suited it to be honest, it isnt "scene" enough.
