(Austin) Heavy shit

Much Kudos to the guy. I also like that it doesnt appear to be an Austin colour of the period.

Much like my mate Bob and his 1937 Moggie 8, bought it when he was 17, sold it when he was 20, bought it back (as a festering pile of rust) when he was 65, restored it and now pisses the local MoC off by having it painted cream and red.

Was taken for a ride out in an 30s Austin Heavy Twenty Open Tourer as a kid, or at least I think that was it's name. Nice old thing, must admit cars from the 30s and 40s are growing on me the older I get. Oh the man, Jo, had an Austin Gipsy and a 70s Reliant Robin Super too, used to enjoy going to my Grans.. He was in the farm next door. He used to supply or source cars for Hearbeat I believe.

Know what you mean I wouldn't mind something pre or post war (late 40's) when I get a bit more space and time...
