I'd do bad things for one of those 240s in "premium" spec on GT5... the pixels fustrate me. Nailing one round the 'ring is good fun, if a little slow!

Slightly OT but how do you get the 240 on GT5? I've checked the used car and online collectors bits every day for months....

BTCC in the '70s, '80s and early '90s was ace. Ford actually wanted to make the Mondeo RWD but the marketing brigade stopped it as they were trying to convince the public that FWD is better. Fools.

 

Definitely. Some of the 'technical' shenanigans going on in the late 80's/early 90's, were breathtaking. I only wish I'd been able to see the Mini-vs-Galaxie era at first hand.

 

I made a point of collecting or creating all the BTCC cars I could in GT2. I even tuned them 'correctly' for extra anal-retentive points. So much so, that after one endurance race in the Primera, I actually believed I was David Leslie. I later enjoyed playing 'cops and robbers' with anyone daft enough to take me on - obviously I had a white Volvo S80, and my opponent had a black Jag S-type.

It crops up on the UCD occasionally but as the UCD is done randomly it can be a right pain in the backside... I'm away from ym PS3 ATM but if in 2 weeks time you still don't have one I can send one of mine if you so desire.

NNNNNGHHHHHHH. If there's an itch I must one day scratch it has to be a Capri Perana in Gunston spec.

 

 

That, to me, is the perfect Capri.
