A mate of mine at work had one for years, and was really sorry when he sold it. He still misses it.

They can't be that bad, surely. Every one I've been after so far has been snapped up.

Erm, if you do manage to crash a Voyager just make sure it's whilst doing 2.1mph into the blancmange factory 'too wobbly' cast off pile. But try and set the airbag off at the same time, just in case. We'll come and visit you or at least send some grapes, don't worry.

Yeah, I heard they didn't fare too well in the encap ratings.

Well the answer to that is...

:wink:8)

Hit almost anything with that and you'll just go right through. Built on a proper chassis, using properly thick steel. :D

My friends with 'The Little Humans' (three of 'em) have owned the original and later editions, both of which were Jap imports, both petrol, auto's, the latter being a lovely three litre version.

100% faultless, huge mileages, fully loaded with other half, 'The Little Humans' and luggage, not exactly lovingly cared for either (car, not family!). One of the most comfortable cars that I've ever been in.

Parts availability was okay as it virtually never needed any, apart from consumables.

How about a Honda Shuttle, Mitsubishi Chariot or Toyota Picaso?

I'll second the Honda Shuttle! I have a 1997 2.2 litre model (called Odyssey here in Yankeeland) and it's been fantastic. Later Shuttles will have the twin cam 2.3 litre engine. Shuttles were petrol-only and four speed auto-only (with column mounted shift lever) but are fairly thrifty and very durable.

Here's mine.....

Great view!

Loads of space.

Rear-most seat folds into boot floor. Nice!

Autotrader UK lists six for sale.

Friends of ours in Florida had the AWD version of the Previa - it managed 400,000 miles without any trouble, other than a wonky sliding door that would pop out of the runner. They sold it almost as soon as they listed it for sale!

I just bought a mini-van almost 3 weeks ago!

It's got the cheek to have power adjustable & heated seats (de rigueur in Florida of course), front and rear climate control, electric sliding doors and a monster Infinity sound system with DVD - quite a van really.
