Can I interest any of you chaps in a 2001 Rover 75 Connoisseur SE 2.5v6?

 

Great looking car, and i know there is a lot of love on here for them.

 

80,000 miles

Tax Aug 2012

Mot - 05/2013

recent new backbox

dual zone climate control

cruise control

electric windows all round

heated seats

steering wheel stereo controls

serviced last december.

 

6 CD changer

lowline instrumentation package

Black leather interior

 

 

Small dent in rear quarterpanel (see pic) looks suspiciously like a fist.

 

GR9 for cruising on motorway. even has a real spare wheel, unlike some of the later project drive ones :)

I'd love to buy that car but, I'm 4,000 miles away and US Customs would seize it at the port if I tried shipping it over. "Land of the Free" my arse! Amazing that a £900 banger over there would be a $9,000 "pre-owned" used car over here! Why, oh WHY couldn't I have been born over there? :cry:

I would, but your immigration officials make it almost impossible. If I were from some third-world hellhole and wanted to sponge off benefits, the UK would throw open the doors for me. But let in an enterprising Yank who wants to work, pay taxes and contribute something back to the local community? Bloody hell, we can't have that!

 

That said, it's not totally impossible. Any of you lot in a position to offer me a job?

:shock: Bloody hell. That is one wonderful looking car. Why cant I make an actual decent amount of money where I can actually afford stuff like this? Why? :evil::cry:

Looks like a Longbridge car too, which surprisingly is a good thing
