What music has been left in your new shit?

Fortunately, gumtree has today provided a subaru CV changer for a tenner - so the previous one will be taking a one way trip to the landfill

Just so I'm clear, Scooters old man, are you binning the old CD changer just because it had been soiled with God rock CDs?:D Respect for that - proper hardcore music criticism!

lol - no! the cd changer - in true subaru form has suffered from a large bit of iron grubby farm machinery being dropped on it and therefore the cd cassette will not come out!

I got an ABBA cd in a Clio I bought to fettle up but I think that's the only music I've found from the previous owner. Most stuff I've bought hasn't even had a working radio!

I had the Dirty Dancing soundtrack in the little Mercedes 190 AMG I had .......

I've never found any CDs, cassettes, etc. in any of my cars when I've taken delivery of them, not even the fabled Volvo 'welcome' cassette which The Volvo would have been supplied with when new. Anyone got one knocking about?

There was a an old fiver in the seat runner of my Audi Coupe, and when we had the interior out we found 12 quid in shrapnel. Not bad given we only paid 50 quid for the car. It also had some dreadful cassette of what appeared to be the album they play in bad Greek restaurants.

Seeing as nobody else has bitten, I will: What was the song that you recently id'd, Lord Sterling?

Was this by any chance a red Clio MTV with the reg GCZ 4576??? Bought in the midlands at the start of last year???

The Clio Auto came with a brilliant cassette of uplifting Christian hits. I sometimes stick it in when the gearbox is really fucking me off and it works nicely.

I remember getting a Volvo 940 after the old man owner had died. The car was exactly how it was when he parked it up before he died. Half smoked cigar in the ashtray and a CD changer FULL of 70s French stuff. I still have the CDs.

A Citroen BX I had came with the one and only Shania Twain album I didn't have. Took it as a great sign. Both the car and the missing album were shit.

In the Austin Princess I've recently bought there's a cassette case, but I'm yet to find the cassette itself. Tina Turner, Break Every Rule bought from Acorn Records in Truro which must be from the owner before the owner I bought it from, who was in Redruth.

Quite like Tina Turner, mildly disappointed there's no cassette now.

Nice to see you've found this forum, Angyl. Looking forward to seeing the Wedge on here at some point in the near future ;)

Junior Walker and the All Stars - Walk in the Night.

I honestly thought this was some sort of instrumental jazz tune but it wasnt, thats how it was supposed to sound, I really liked it. Whn I found out what it was called I jumped on youtube and downloaded it.
