Two gentlemen arrived, handed over the money and drove off in this fine little motor just now; fair play it seems that ebay isn't just for idiots. The buyer in this case deserves some mega positive feedback (for what its worth these days), the whole thing was super straightforward.

 

 

They are real Vaux enthusiasts too (sound like they own at least 50% of the remaining MK1s between them!!) so hopefully its a happy ending all round!!

 

 

I took it out for one last go this morning, the brakes were no where near as bad as last time, just a bit of a jolt when first pulling off and it started on the button with no choke. I think it was trying to make me feel guilty.

According to my eBay feedback (eBay feedback! Do you remember that?), the brown lovely was "better than expected" (dammit) and managed the 170mile (!) journey to its new home perfectly well.

 

 

PHEW.

 

I hope it will live on. There's another floating about in Denbigh, but Matt gave me "the look" when I mentioned it...
