Parking ticket advice

I know people will probably say to look on Pepipoo,but thought I'd ask here 1st.Basically,I was driving Miss 155's car & left it on a double yellow for 5 minutes.When I came back there was a warden there,but no ticket on the car.I didn't say anything,just drove off,& hadn't heard anything until now when she has rung me to say she has got a ticket.However,the offence was dated 4th December & I just wondered if they had left it too long to send the ticket?. Any advice appreciated,thanks.

If there are no yellow blips on the kerb, then you were dropping off a large box of white moccasins were you not? Loading exemption.

is that what the yellow blips on the curb mean (i.e. not loading)? so on a single yellow outside of the controlled hours they are irrelevant?

I suspect that they can't chase you without a picture of the car parked and ticketed. But pepipoo will have more details.
