Just saw this at the end of the road. As I was taking pics a neighbour commented that it had had a parking ticket on it early this week and has been there for a while. That's all I know. Apart from the ripple in the drivers door and the bumper held up with a ratchet strap it looks okay but has a tear in the drivers seat.

With regard to the split seat - don't they all do that??? A friend had a G-reg CJ in white (rather, his wife did) and that was exactly the same.

Always fancied one of these, they have that sort of 'modern classic'* look about them that will never age.

Might be worth a phone call.

Who knows, if it's been sitting there a while the owner might be happy just to get shot of it. You probably won't get open-air motoring much cheaper than one of those, particularly if that's one of the unloved 1.4s. (Which it looks to be from the price on the tax disc)
