Friend needs a car - What does AS have to offer?

Hello, my friend needs a new car after his Mk4 Fiesta has started to give up the ghost at 140k miles.

Does anyone has a car for sale at present, ideally less that a 1.4 and under £750 but all things considered.

Mate has taken in a 'P' reg 1.4CL Polo 5 door tax & test, needs to get back £550 for it. Don't know where you are so maybe no use at all

 

PS CL has leccy widows, power steering and central locking and around 110k ish on it

The current owner of my former Astra is selling it. 1995 1.4 5 door I think, taxed/tested, might need a battery and 'slight weldable blow from front pipe' circa £300 in or near Crewe.
