Did anyone see this (or has seen it before)??

Most of it is set in France in the 60's and is chock full of french chod (and a lovely gold BMW E28 right at the start, before it goes to 1959)

It's on again in the early hours of next tuesday and the 2nd part (public enemy #1) is on Tuesday evening.

full of top quality eurochod...

Am very much lurving Romanzo Criminale at the moment - on episode 4 and impressed that despite his CASH one of the main VILLANZ drives around in an Ami 8! Whereas his partner has a Porsche 911 - I know which one I would respect!

The copper with the tash who's chasing them is in a nice wee Fiat 126 - reminds me of the Yugo 45 I had

Villan's version of the tranist is a Fiat 900 Van - good to see the head Villan was using an XJ6 though

What I like about Romanzo Criminale is that there are SO MANY cars and secondly how they are not all in mint condition. Being the props sourcer on that would be my dream job - scouring Italy and France for all the 60's and 70's chod you can find -

It's an E12, and a 528i. :D

Mesrine was shot and killed in one just like this. He was a right bastard really, but a bit of a hero. A great film which is so long it's on two discs which I have. Plenty of French chod and it's all done superbly, not in some wanky Heartbeat style. A Renault 16 gets well and truly fucked however.

The French chap who plays Mesrine has some A1 shite credentials. Those of you old enough to recall the MK1 Renner Clio ad campaigns of the early 90s will remember that they were light hearted romantic comedies in that oh-la-la French cheesy way. You had this old rich geezer called Papa who dressed either like the paedo in Death in Venice or the Del Monte man...you get the picture all white hair, beige suit and panama hat with cane. Anyway this bloke gets into all sorts of a tozzer about the wayward behaviour of his DIRTY SLUT OF A DAUGHTER, Nicole who you may recall was this piece de tout droit who wore these summer dresses that were revealing. Anyway the plot went like this....Papa can't find Nicole he's flapping around (probably needs help with his truss) meanwhile Nicole is sneaking around trying to avoid him....'.Nicole?' He asks as he looks in every room in the chateux..'Papa' says Nicole to put the giffer off the scent. Comedy moments a plenty as he bumbles about like some old fart just missing his daughter who uses all sorts of ruses like amusingly hiding behind a tree in the jardin. Why? You ask between leers is she trying to avoid him? Well its because the dirty French hussy is making her way to her Renner Clio so she can drive off for a tryst with her decidedly dodgey looking paramour a smelly unshaven continental type played by the very chap who plays Mesrine. Off they zoom in the Clio for a podgering while the giffer ends up in some comedy embrace with the housekeeper.........

Anyway, shite ad for a shite car!
