1985 VW Polo 1300 GL Breadvan for sale mot february tax january. Bought this on Ebay this week but its just not me  Its had new brake pads and discs last month - runs drives. The previous owner has changed the carb recently but its the wrong one and the choke does not work so its a bugger to start when cold. Perfect when warm though :| . OK condition ideal winter smoker or ratlook / pineapple / roofrack ride

I'd be surprised if a Dub Scenester didn't pay 3-500 notes for that as is. Get the Fukka on the bay!

Just lob some Fyffes Bananas stickers on the front wing and an Iron Cross sticker on the back window and you've cracked it. Perhaps ask some spotty youths in long woolly hats carrying skateboards to stand next to it and then grab some pictures?

I'm going to look at it tomorrow

Don't tell Mrs the Princess :!:

Yeah, but are you cool enough? :D

I don't know, how do you weld two coil springs together for super ride height?

With a stickbombed inverse hacksaw, naturellement.

Not to me because I am a lame timewaster (in my defence I misunderstood and didn 't want to drive the car back off of MiD even with trade insurance as I have me told bad stories of impounded cars. I apologised and would still be interested if it was there in the New Year but if it goes it goes - more fool me).

If you think I'm going to spend over 10% of a cars value to do that... that said I am an idiot for not bring the trade certificate with me.

Couldn't you have taken out a new insurance policy, then just cancelled it the next day?, You have a 14 day cooling of period i believe, I done this when i bought me old BMW 1602, I took out a new policy with Tesco's and then just cancelled it the next day and never got charged a penny.

Long gone - January.

Got broken earlier this year. I had the back seats and a few other bits and bobs from it to help mine out. Shame really, it looked like a really solid car and the early ones are getting fewer and further apart now.

Yep - sold it to a good guy on retro rides who breaks older cars. Despite lots of emails off people with various promises it was a long hard battle to sell the mofo
