Whats the latest whispers about maybe having more vehicles become tax exempt ?

I haven't heard anything.....can't see the Government being too concerned about giving away tax revenue in these hard pressed times.....remember, regardless of the truth and ecological sustainability of keeping old cars running, the suits would rather us all buy fuel efficient Korean super mini's thereby lining the pockets of some foreign country....or something

Are you thinking of the latest online petition? Dunno it it will do any good but worth a try..... Now if they get more than 100.000 signatures they have to consider it for debate.

...just about sums it up.

Our poxy government is happy to have 50,000 folk pissing in the wind, if they really wanted the petition thing to work, it would be properly moderated and threads/petitions wanting essentially the same thing would be combined.

But it's just a way to be seen to be, 'empowering the people', - another wanky vote winner.
