nice pics, looks like a good show.

It was pretty good. I was on an autojumble stall with Paul - H, Seth and Pog. I sold sod all and barely got any photos because Deputy Dipshit here (post 13 hour shift at work) charged his D70 battery and then forgot to put it in the camera. If you want some naff phone camera snaps, I'll happily oblige. I didn't even get any of our stall, because I was that out of it.

Got MM5 a pressie though - and Paul H seemed happy with the Exactons I sold him. I also spoke to Danny Hopkins from Practical Classics who very kindly contributed some audio for a piece of coursework at Uni.

Rare Austin version - shame about those wheels though

Is it wrong to like that Land Rover

Is it wrong to like that Land Rover?

I think the wheels make that Moggy van. Almost every one I see is on the original wheels with those 'orrible "M" 'ubcaps or Marina steels which look bloody awful but mean discs and stopping are a possibility. If I were ever to own a Moggie Minor I'd dismantle a few Marinas for the brakes and 1275 engine and fit Minilites. Although, if I owned a Moggy it'd have to have a Fiat TC, but killing Marinas is always worthwhile.

The old Landy looks great like that. Proper job.

Rare - that's a Granada 2000 base, the car that replaced the Consul. Body colour rear panel, old type XL wheel covers and the Transit spec 2.0 LC engine with single choke Motorcraft carb - well, at least Autos like this one had the full fat HC version.

I've seen the metallic red XK FHC at Stonelee before at a Jag spares day.
