2003 53 plate MG ZT (Raver 75), 1.8T with a buggered cylinder head. Mixing oil and water PLUS severe wear on the end cam bearings. The head is fucked, basically.

Very few 1.8T heads around, but lots of regular non turbo ones.

So.........how different are the two heads, and will a regular 1.8 non VVC head fit and work?

TIA.

The heads for turbo and non-turbo are coming up here with the same part number.

Oops! Forgot to say part number is LDF109390

I'm given to believe that the heads of both the non-VVC and the VVC are the same and that only the gubbins bolted to them differ :)

Many Tanks gents. Is there an online 'realOEM' type MG Rover parts website then?

Hawtai Santa Fe C9Part of a joint venture with Hyundai Motors that began in 2002, a Chinese company, Hawtai Motor, manufactured the first generation Santa Fe.[5] While it did make Hyundai-branded models for sale on the Chinese market,[5] one of the versions it debuted under its own brand name in 2009 was the Santa Fe C9.[6] Utilizing a Rover-acquired engine, it may have been priced at a significant discount to those bearing the Hyundai name.[7]

Hyundai ended its partnership with Hawtai in 2010.[8]

All (later type that your car would be fitted with) heads are all the same, turbo, non-turbo, and across engine sizes.VVC is totally different.

I do have a very clean head from a 1.8turbo sat in my garage, someone has asked me for it, but if that falls though...
