I've been wanting to contribute a little to Autoshite in the picture variety, so here's a recent Flickr upload of mine, and I'll see if someone here knows what it is. The photo is a few months old, but I passed it recently and still there. The house looks unmaintained and I've so far been too shy to knock on the door and ask about it.

 

 

Might upload some small pics of a scrap yard I passed on the train, if anyone's interested? Low quality but you experts could probably still name a lot of the cars.

I love some of the cars you've photographed previously - but will try to resist going "where's this? where's that?"A quick look on the cursedly popular / common google seems to point towards that being a very close match, however the Warwick / Peerless 's front grill mouth seems a different shape. Also the car in my picture has a bonnet vent in the centre, not to one side. I dont know if I've missed a model of Warwick / Peerless though, as the headlight / indicatior placement is very close.

I think it might be a Turner MkIII, The front end looks to be all one mould, with a small bonnet inset, but the headlights look too fluted..hmmm..

That Falcon Caribbean is SO close, but doesn't earn you a full cookie. The bonnet vent seems too far forward and the indicators, while very very close, are just a slightly different position.

 

Here's a less obscured view, maybe it'll be helpful? I couldn't get a better side profile without stepping onto the property.

The headlights on my mystery car, recess into the wings, rather than bulging out like on the car you linked to - but I applaud you for finding a rediculously rare car to offer for comparison!

NEW PICTURES! Perhaps this will give someone a few features needed to identify this conclusively. The pictures are fairly big and i apologise to anyone on a slower connection for that.

 

I did knock on the door of the house, but no one seemed to be there. Someone must live there though, and there was a shelving unit or something in front of the garage door, which had not been there before. Next time I'll leave them a letter and a SAE in case they're kind enough to reply - unless one of you gets it first!

Wow Carlo, you might just have got it!The "indicatiors" (small front light placements) look to be located differently and the grille area on the pic you included looks squarer, but that could be the angle. Reading the site from where that picture came, and learning that they are shells put on existing chassis' lends support to it too, as I didnt see any axles, only a little bit of metal underneath (limited view of course).Any idea if these are rare, or if there's quite a few that survive in restored condition? Awesome job Carlo
