Right. I go on holiday in about 4 weeks, and have very little in the way of spending money. I'd rather not cane the plastic any more than I already have,so it's time to clear the decks.

I may have a couple of alternative (and suitably cheap and shite) replacements lined up, so this is going to be the easiest one to shift, both emotionally* and financially.

1996 N Alfa 145 Cloverleaf 2.0 twin spark.

Full black Momo leather

PAS

Electric windows, mirrors and sunroof (all working)

143k, but has £590 invoice from Alfatune dated last October, for timing belt, variator, tensioner and water pump.

Very recent new KYB rear shocks

Loads of bills/history, and looks to have been well looked after.

12 months MOT

Long tax (available at cash-in cost)

Paint has a few scratches/marks and the bonnet is pitted (just looks like stone chips all over), although it still does look very respectable.

Looking for £750 plus the cost of the tax, although Shiters discounts will apply.

Car is just outside Bolton (BL5 postcode). If you want to send anyone local to inspect, that's no problem, but please don't send the pub mechanic!

PM here, please, and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Couple of pics for now, I shall add more some time tomorrow(ish) when I've cleaned it!

*The emotional alternative is to shift the Celica. I may start a thread to debate this in the near future.

These things are the dogs- if it was £500- I'd be 'avin it. Sat on my hands this afternoon watching a 1.8 not sell on Ebay for £299.

Yes, but a boggo 1.8 isn't quite a Cloverleaf though

Good luck with swift sale

A lot of folk say the 1.8 is a sweeter engine and a bit revvier. Love the qv's quick rack tho.

Possibly.

But won't be worth anything like a proper 2.0 Cloverleaf with those wheels and the four-leafed clover badge. Not that we're arguing over much more than the costs of a golfing day out here! All these cars are cheap with a capital C.

And yes watch out for aftermarket rack swaps as the car gets older. Wifeys old 146ti seemed to have been given a slower & heavier rack at 80k, by the previous moaner.

Bump for a real bargain 8)

2.25 turns lock to lock, BTW. Quick enough? :D
