wuvvum Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 What happened to that Pogtastic LDV you had Wuvvum - did it die on you? Nope, I sold it to a mate who converted it into a camper. He's since sold it on though.
wuvvum Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Yeah, me, but not yet! Is it fitted out for camping, perchance?Nope, it's just a boggo panel van. Not sure it'd be that GR9 for camping to be honest, as it's a low roof model.
eddyramrod Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Kthanx... back to the drawing board then. Anyway, for the moment all I can really do is keep an eye on the market, no point in trying to buy anything yet. At the moment we don't even know when our tenants are likely to leave, so we can't make any firm plans until we have that. I could be up for a van, Mrs R might take a bit more persuading.....
dieselnutjob Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 my mate go the new V5 with 9 seats written on it in the nick of time. Thursday I think it arrived. So he is okay in the LEZ but one child has to walk.... still it's not that often he needs the entire family in there I also got various brochures off of the toyota japanese web site and parts CD. If I can prove that his Hiace has the same parts as later ones then it proves that it meets later Jap specs that are stricter than Euro 3. It has the electronically controlled diesel which is pretty clean. Certainly there is no visible smoke ever. Then I will start a battle with TFL, just for the fun of it.
Wilko220 Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Took the LDV into London for a blast today, as from tomorrow it'll be a crime. What a load of bollocks - and all from the same man who wants to build a new airport in the Thames Estuary. How very green...
