Driver's window fix

The Fronterror's window has come adrift from the vertical channel it runs in and also partially unstuck from the horizontal up and down mechanism (apologies for lack of technical terms)

 

I'm guessing that I should refix the glass using some of that No More Nails stuff and should lubricate the channel with something - vaseline?

 

Any suggestions?

Silicone spray lube for the channels. Not sure about for gluing.

I tried glue:

It has held so far, but the channels are probably bent, so the window only goes so far down then jams. That may be what has caused it to separate anyway.

 

If the set-up looks like the Rover's, and you're brave, you could drill the glass and use a plastic bolt, it won't shift then.

Just board the window up

I used liquid metal to hold a window to the runner before. The mastic that holds the bit of plastic had come off.
