Anyone fancy an E36 318i?

It's nice and all..... but it's not me. So I think I may look to move it on.

 

Condensed advert is:

1994 318i 4 door, originally a "BMW Personal" car i.e. special factory order. In this case that meant metallic burgundy, with a burgundy half-leather interior. I'll be kind and say it's an acquired taste! In reality it's perfectly nice and very comfy, being the sports seats. Originally bought in Germany but it's a RHD model, the only owner apart from me being in the forces.

M43 8v engine, 66,000 miles from new with full service history. All but the most recent was BMW dealer, with the latter being a BMW specialist. All have been done on time, and there's a folder full of receipts for things like bulbs, wipers and tyres.

Mint alloys courtesy of rev_bluejeans, and I've just installed a trip computer. Everything works bar the passenger central locking but I've just picked up a new solenoid so there's a job for me at the weekend.

 

Bad points: There's a rust bleb on the rear passenger arch, about three inches long and an inch tall. Not broken through the paint but it needs sorting. Idler pulley is currently noisy, I fitted a replacement but that's just seized so the noisy one is back on. For £14 and one spanner I'll sort it before sale though! New backbox a month ago.

Good points: Low mileage and good history, interior is really good with just a bit of surface scuffage to drivers bolster. It's also iS spec in parts so 'leccy sunroof, foglamps and sill trims/spoiler combo. Windy rear windows though. Everything is mechanically good, it's a really nice drive, should be good for many miles!

It really is good, just not "me". I want something smaller, and thanks to the fact I'm seeing a lass in Scunthorpe, probably diesel.
