I need glass could anyone please help me?

Hows it going folks? My good freind Amy has just bought a 1988 reliant rialto and she needs a drivers door window,autoglass are wanting £275 for one which is absoulutly riddiculous. So does any one know where to get cheap glass or better still got a window for sale?

Is the window a Reliant item or is it borrowed from something like a Mini?

 

I'd be tempted to make up a replacement with perspex to keep the car going until you can find a reasonably priced replacement.

I'm a member of the R3W Forum and they're very helpful in terms of sourcing parts, have a look on there. Some people give them away for nothing! You may be lucky.
