As we all know only too well, car accuracy in books ( and TV & Films ) is very rare.

It's not often that I read anything, and I read about 3 paperbacks a week, and think ,yes that car or that chase etc is spot on.

Lee Child is one of the few American* authors that seems to do a bit of research, which is ironic when his hero walks everywhere and doesn't have a drivers license.

Pity his UK publisher didn't do any research when commissioning the cover artwork.

The sniper drives an old non - descript minivan.
