Looks like a shed-load of space inside the event, was it under-booked?

What's all that stuff in the windows of the white MK3 Cortina estate (KHJ 50L) including the thing about South Wales, that Cortina has been knocking around Southend on Sea for as long as I can remember, it was always at the Roots Hall market every week without fail.

I hope it hasn't been sold and moved away, come to think of it I haven't seen it for about a year :?

Hasn't that white Renault 9 been for sale about a million times in the last 6 months? First at auction, then on ebay...now here. It's a shame when these cared- for, one owner cars get sold and then change hands a squillion times in the next few years.

I was just thinking the same. Looks tidy though and a bit tempting now that I have a bit of space.

WE WOZ THERE!

When I say we I mean myself and the esteemed PaulH. I have a few pics too though not many. I can however trump your Acclaim photo with one of the Avon version we parked near. :D

Keef, the Standard Vanguard was in fact a Standard Vanguard.

It was pretty busy but the last hall only had a few stands and a small number of cars for sale plus a couple of clubs. Much the same as last year I think. I scored some "naughty" brake parts some fuses and a hammer. But also had a good chinwag with a freindly Triumph bod/supplier I know and caught up with some other mates too. Weather was nice, roads were mostly clear and the Herald ate the timewarp M45 at a fair old lick. A good day.
