Insurance group on a Reliant Rialto

Can someone please tell me what the "insurance group" is on a Reliant Rialto van, 848cc, 1992 registration K663 LMM? (or recommend a decent website that tells you). I know what it should be, just think FJ might be telling porkies!

Thanks in advance.

Fuck that! FJ said it was group 5, I couldn't believe it was any higher than 1! :?

What a load of bollox.

Still can't get the Thatcham website to work btw.

Probably because of all the half-blind old codgers who crash them on the way home from drinking stout in their allotment sheds...

Did FJ refuse to insure it or something?

The van version might be a lower insurance group.

Yes, they refused, as did Adrian Flux.

I've been with FJ for two 2 1/2 years with an A35 and 2CV, but they refused the Reliant, saying my policy only covers me for Group 1 cars. I'm 19 years old.

I used to own a Robin and was a member of the Reliant Club. There was a broker who advertised in the magazine as a specialist in insuring Reliant cars, but for the life of me I cannot remember it! They were based in Derbyshire and as I recall WERE cheap when it came to Reliants. Perhaps checking out the owners' website (as suggested earlier) might have their details. Failing that, my brokers (Herald Insurance, 020 8441 8845) are very tenacious when it comes to cheap prices.
