From January 1, 2011, unleaded 95RON-E10 petrol containing up to 10 per cent ethanol will become

the mandatory regular grade fuel across the European Union.

Member states are using the official lists published by automobile manufacturers to estimate the

numbers of vehicles that will necessitate the continuing availability of unleaded 95RON petrol

(conventional unleaded 95-octane petrol containing up to five per cent of denatured ethanol).

Found this on a company website today....Cannot publish any more of it, just to say that some old cars may be in trouble!

Mad isn't it? They try to force us to run cars on shite, but there's no encouragement at all to use LPG - which is flared off if nobody wants it.

The Czechs have had a mental law for a few years which means all DERV sold there has to have about 15% biodiesel content. As diesel doesn't work that well there anyway with the winters turning diesel to wax the only consequence has been for nobody to buy diesels. Those who have been stupid enough to buy things fuelled with Dr. Diesels Evil Invention are now discovering what happens when you run common rail diesels on biofuel, and just how expensive modern diseasel injectors are.

Hopefully they'll try to bring it in in this country and that'll be the end of diesels.

I have the solution. There should be a new law that anyone who can't afford a new car, or can't get a car on 2000000% APR finance should be put in jail. Forever.

does this affect premium fuel?

does premium fuel already have the 5% blend as regular fuel?
