I love the old style Irish republic plates. Here's a question (or two):

 

Is it possible that there are vehicles registered in the UK on a southern Ireland reg? It would probably have to be something pre-WWI; Registered in southern Ireland but later registered somewhere else in the UK, on the same number, before Ireland became a completely separate country.

 

I imagine it could cause the DVLA's computer to explode.
