The Polonez, surely the shitest of all shite cars! A mate once told me F.S.O stood for For Scrap Only. Maybe he was right. Terrible design, terrible build quality. Many died from terminal rot or engine/rear axle failures after only a few years. They made supreme bangers though!

Solara is still shitter to me. Stellars are shite but I have better memorys of them than anything 80's and talbot badged!

... my mate's dad still states that FSO stands for "Fucking Shitey Object"... I've been looking at going to PL to drive a Polonez back after discovering how reasonably priced they are. The only thing stopping me going after a decent Stellar is that Korea is a fucking long, long way away!

I think we'd be better building up to the Polonez - perhaps even making it's shite-off a Christmas spectacular?

 

For the moment, it's clear that the Stellar has defeated the champ. Now we must find a contender of roughly comparable size and age (for a fair fight, you understand - the miserableness of sitting in a bubble car would allow them to land a blow as soon as the bell rang). I was thinking possibly the Fiat Regata? It being a middleweight '80s saloon like the Stellar.

 

Or how about the Acclaim?

 

Or Alfa 33?

 

Tell you what, you lot decide. Someone post the next shite-off, Stellar v. ???????
