Clearly the best time for a turbo to go on a van is the hottest something on record blah blah.

So it did.

At 232,000 miles, because all Vauxhall's Renaults are shit.

Has it stranded you anywhere near sunny Bewdley? Not far away...

Still drove, just got turbo off this morning.

Naturally it now turns. No marks, no debris.

So, its fixed.

1x turbo

1x boost pressure sensor

1x boost vac controller solenoid# (not related) - showing small vac leak

1x downpipe sensor

1x egr cooler.  Disc fell off. rest is meh/consequential apart from vac solenoid. Disc wedged in impellor side - be aware that you need to split it to see the damage. especially as it has a tendency to drop out.

#ECU switches it directly - however diaphragm wasn't holding pump vac so random low boost issue. For those that are interested etc.

Pretty much standard warnings for all injector/air side issues.

Damage is other side. Didn't get a picture unfortunately.

The giveaway is a very slight uneveness when spinning shaft - easy to miss.
