I just watched this short video.

There will be opinions on both sides of the debate.

But it is worth considering.

Yes they use American examples, but apply it to European examples and the outcomes are not different.

Hardly news to most of us I'd have thought?

Brand new hybrid festooned with electronics for £40k or five grand down and a hefty chunk of change every month that you have to hand back after 4 years, or 5 grand for a decent old shitter you own outright from day 1 and every month you're not shelling out £3-400 on repairs is a month you're up on the deal.
I'm not big on the OMGprivacy thing though, seems a bit tinfoil hat to me and if you've already got a smartphone, well...

There are people for whom having a brand new car on on the never-never works but they must be a minority on here.

tl:dr - All modern cars are crap.

I’ve unplugged the microwave and put all the radios in a sealed bag as a precaution.

I watched that the other night and agree. I nailed an android auto into my qashqai so have a screen, but the rest of the car is manual (has auto lights which are very good and that's about it).

Much prefer that, in my dad's enyaq I can do about 4 things whilst driving on the screen and not alot else. Have to ask him what the consequence of pulling some of the stalks are too occasionally 😢 (partly incase I change something we don't know how to change back)
