Croxley Green - Early arrivals

Recommended Posts

Popped up to Croxley for a few hours this afternoon but had ickle_Seth with me so we had to leave to get home for dinner/bed etc. A couple of really heavy showers after lunch looked to have put a few people off as numbers seemed well down - don't know if it perked up later.

First for the OJC fans, a Mazda

I seemed to notice a large Cortina presence. More to come.

That 3.0 Cortina.

Is it a South African import or a home conversion?

I did see a MKIII Cortina with a Cosworth lump in it the other day, and its apparently still 1.6 according to the DVLA. I think someone just put a 3.0 engine in there from a dead Granada to make an SA Cortina never sold here.

Great shots seth, looks like it was still a good show despite the awful weather. That early Granny is certainly getting around lately!

just noticed the essex cortina has a krookloc lock attached

oh the heady days of the late 1980s - when I naively believed some tin and a chinese 3-pin lock would stop my car from getting nicked, they didnt work, twice.
