She gets home first despite half the CC and half the power.

Thankyou @Andyrew - again, I remain baffled by why this failed to sell as it drives really nicely, you can tell the dampers are more recent and the steering is nicer than my last one too.

In future I guess anyone selling an SLK should just leave it near me and wait for me to find money?

Oh, I missed the best bit. Having found gf had gone home I go to get back in Ampera, my hat blew away, I shut the door and ran after the hat, the edge of the coat was in the door so I let arms go backwards, escaped the coat, caught the hat, and nearly got run over by a Kia 😂

The interior looks great in reality, the red dash/facelift spun chrome dash looks brilliant. Plus it has a Sony radio so beep beep beep beep.
