been looking at Mondogs for weeks now to replace the Juke of pain..well I WAS going to trot off to Gt Yarmouth for the ex Ambulance one I posted about in the Ask a Shiter group.

so after many hours of looking , Miss BSA found a 2014 Titanium X Tdci In Aston in sunny Brum!!!

so after phone calls and messages we sauntered over in HER Mondog 2014 Titanium X , weather was wonderful and wet!!!

Long and short is I now own my own personal 2014 Mondeo Titanium X Business edition (anyone know what the difference is??) in Blend in silver/grey

Product photo of 2013 Ford Mondeo titanium x buisness

few 'whiskey dents' here and there... but means Im not paranoid about parking it anywhere!!

missing the retractable load cover and the 'floor' button from the air con..nothing that can't wait.

Drove it back in the rain drives great very light power steering -too light I think especially compared to other halfs ..

way too many buttons and menu's but I'll get used to it - and the stereo is fantastic!!

I think the Business Edition meant it came with sat nav.

The whiskey dents will just be from parking in Aston Tescos car park I’m sure, every time I go there I’m sure the car picks up a new dent lol.

Always been interested in these, my old man had a 1.8 TDCI that was great, always fancied an estate but in 2.5T flavour.

Still haven't ruled out a Mondeo estate as my next car. Got a bit carried away last time and was up looking at £10k examples when the original budget was about half that 🤭🤭🤭.

Got the Laguna of love instead as employment looked a bit shaky at the time but still lust after a nice 2.0 tdci MK4/5.

Did really fancy an auto which was the one drawback for me as they all seem to be this powershift nonsense that seems to give issues. Wonder if they ever made them in pure shunt-o-matic spec?

I'll be honest though driving the Laguna with cruise has made me realise I'm fine with a manual anyway as 80% of my journeys are on the motorway so probably a moot point.

i got cross eyed looking at them, from 07 ones for £4K + to ones with moon milage for top dollar..being the 163Bhp it doesnt hang around and the box is pure old school ford nice action and you know when its on gear , no floppy stick in these!!

previously owned a Mk3 Tdci estate and loved that , this is same experience but seems way wider and longer, dont really fit in parking bays without sticking out the end!
