Washout! Heavy rain all day so many regulars never bothered attending. Those that did left early. Such a shame as the new venue looks bigger and better. Wont stop me going next year, lol!

Worst part wasnt the rain, it was the journey home!

Plan had been to follow A120 from Harwich to motorway then head up M11, A1(M) etc. back to Mordor Scotland. 

A120 closed from 10pm (was closed at 9.30) so me and everyone else from the ferry had to guess at driving along single track roads in the general direction of the A12. 

A1(M) closed for 2 massive sections so headed towards M6/M74. M6 closed between J1 and 3. More back roads!

All the way up the M6 onto M74. Back road from Abington (A702) closed, Junction 4 for M8 Edinburgh closed.

Car never missed a beat the whole journey, it was the road network that broke down! 😡

It's always an incredible day. Last year, the rain managed to hold off until pretty much the end of the show thankfully. Shame it was so soggy this time. Hoping to be there next year.
