I'm sure I gave you the other centre console. There was a period in the space of that gen where it had them, then they swapped it for the useless flap covered box at the front.

You might have to rejig the keycard slot but it is possible to retrofit the cup holders.

So typically French that they had them in then removed them to create a problem they'd already solved.

My money is on one of two reaons.

1. The unions need to create an excuse to do some more work in the factory by removing them all and retooling.

2. Some onion string wearing mustachio-ed mime artist complained they couldn't store their baguettes between the seats with a mug of tea in the way.

Off to Wales again in this big old girl on Friday. Some decent miles to cover like last time.
