now its going to be "open space" for the public to enjoy - aye once the several thousand tons of concrete and old bricks have been cleared away then, not to mention the fact the ground is polluted.)

Typical joined up thinking there... we;ve got this ground and people want parks etc... there you go! Railways over the years deposit horrendous "stuff" into the ground not the kind of stuff you want little jimmy to be running around and jumping into!

 

It is a shame the old test track is to go, it would be nice if they could let some of the old crocks that were tested/similar crocks to those tested onto the track for a last time but it would never happen!

Bloody developers. I cant see why they cant keep as some sort of track to rent out for cruiser/classic car type meets. A sort of (very) mini Nurburgring. Surely theres a market for that, non?

I refer you to my first post - If I can get the car in I shall be having a hoon round - I doubt I will be able to get the car in though, so may have to settle for a little bit of urbex on my push bike.
