Bikeshite and possibly carshite wanted?

Hi everyone,

 

Firstly, I have decided against driving for a while, firstly it is so damned expensive, especially at my age, but also im going to be moving to London in a year or two so realistically would have no need for a car and also would have little room to keep and/or work on a car. So, as much as I love cars I dont think I can really be getting a project car for of my own for a good while

but at least Ill be able to get Mums 2cv back on the road and I might be able to use that a little.

 

So..... I would like to get another bike I think! A small motorbike would be ideal for me at the moment i think, something to get into town and back etc. that doesnt cost the earth to insure and run.

 

Therefore- I would like to possibly buy another bike to use if someone has something suitable? Ideally something 125cc or below that I can use as a daily run about with little worry for it. I dont want anything in real nice condition, something tatty and well used is ideal.

I am not fussy, would consider anything to be honest. this is just smething to get around on. I dont mind if it hasnt got tax or MOT and if it needs work, I love working on bikes so thats not an issue. even if its not complete i would consider it, just let me know!

Budget wise, If I could get something for under £80 I would be very happy! I know its unlikely but its worth a shot. a couple of up comnig gigs got cancelled at the last minute so i wont have as much money available for the next couple of months hence the low budget.

 

 

 

Second thing is I have a friend who did want a motorbike because driving was going to be too expensive for him but family said no to a motorbike so I thought Id see if I can find a cheap small car for him that I can fix and get MOTed so theres one less cost for him to worry about as much so he can actually afford insurance (this is also partly why i have such a low budget for a commuter bike) so if anyone has anything dirt cheap that he could use as a run about, id love to hear.
