New shite.

As of this afternoon I have new shite. Here's the only picture I have so far, that's shite as well.

 

 

Spent the morning in 27 o C climbing over several astras in the scrappers looking for assorted bits for it, sweating like a donkey in a suitcase.

 

Still need a load cover, only one there was knackered already.

 

And does anyone know how the roofbars/covering trims fix/remove as there's a set Paddy Hopkirk roof bars on one of the Astras there?

 

So i can live a "Confessions" style life of oddjobs and window cleaning.

 

(My dad's had it for a week so he could clean it and do some bodging on it rather than diy or do the gardens) and I picked an Astra as there's plenty of scrapper's for him to spend his time picking over. Keeps him busy.

Cool, looks like about a 1996 or 1997 model and is it wearing TD badge there? Can't remember how to remove those roof bar things now, taking roof lining off in rear rings a bell though.

1995 GLS TD. Bit slow against my Polo (now sold) but it's tested for 12 months and taxed for 6 so will do me for now. A little run in on 160,000 so had the timing belt changed as a cash in hand deal so it's not on my mind.Oh and I got a Michelin Energy with 7mm on almost new rim for £12.00 at the scrapyard - bargain motoring.
