It states no subscription and 6 month standby, it seems good especially if it is possible to replace the battery, this is not so clear. I am tempted to try one. If they were any good I would buy several.

Not a subscription to the tracker, but the website seems to be a recurring membership.

Just have an old phone hidden somewhere with power, if it's an iPhone you could use find my iPhone, or track its location like you can track where the rugrats are with their phones.? WhatsApp can share location too
