Toyota Sera spotted for sale

Butterfly door action spotted for sale on an industrial estate in Staffs Moorlands earlier. There were no details apart from a mobile number which my rather hurried poor shot has failed to capture. This one’s an auto. Was in a hurry so that's as much as I know.

 

If anyone’s interested I’ll go back to see if I can get the phone number.

 

Googled the registration and it was on the bay dahn sarf in February.

I think most are autos.Had one around this time last year.The air-con wasn't very good and those windows are too small to let enough air in to cool you down.At the time I was staying 30 miles away from home and would drive the SERA home to collect mail and stuff.Even in March the sun beating down through all that glass almost gave me heat stroke.Thinking about it now,perhaps a hat was the order of the day as my baldy head got very warm indeed.

I am impressed that Toyota went to all that trouble - sparrow wing doors and glass roof. I have to admit that whilst I love the idea of a panoramic observation car glass roof, even retro-fit pop-up sunroofs make you feel you're in a conservatory in Cairo. I think roofs should be metal.

Blimey! I drove past that Sera coming out of Cheadle this morning...!It looks pretty good
