so wanted to do a borders loop

plan was to rip to just north of carlisle on friday then do the loop today back to carlisle

due to promised weather and what i think is a strained ligament not a pulled muscle in me arm i decided to go in the car

rebooked for kirkby lonsdale instead of cumbria as it was half the time (fek im old) 

having done eyemouth fer ice cream and was gonna do duns for jim clark but was hooning it too much on ace roads

so this morning seeing as noone would come and say hello @gm  

decided to go to ryhope near sunderland - the engine museum had open days and they do a car thing too - yesterday was cars today was military - so decided to do that

well

a tank a vw iiltis (that turned into an audi quattro) a crane and 4 land rovers zzzzzzzzzz and a gpw jeep

went into the smithing bit and watched them make stuff - wanted to go into the cafe but cos of the weather everyone is hiding in there so no tea

aldi ftw and cross cuntry to barnard and kirkby stephen then here

i was planning to visit Ryhope today with the family but the weather rather spoiled that  i’m not overly fussed on the military vehicles but do want to see the pumping station in steam. hopefully tomorrow will have a bit of sunshine on offer.

on the bright side, i went round my sisters house and scoffed home made ginger cake
