Greek Chod Spotting

Fun fact, I used to love the looks of the Astra F when I was about 12. Great color on that Fiat.

Also the owner of the 1.9 GTI from yesterday either has a sense of humor or just doesn't care.

Some C5 A6 action at last. Must have been a higher spec model, too. Z3 facelift #2, just not quite as good looking in silver as many other colors you could get them in.

E30 looked good in all white although the quality of the paint job was pretty bad.

Alfa garage with a 166 in front. Plenty more 146 as well, I was standing in front of a multicolored 146 there.

Another Alfa 33 that seems to have survived fairly well. 205 must have been a project of the garage owner, there was an Ukrainian Mitsubishi on the lift next to it.

Quickly followed by the next E36 M3, in slightly better shape.

The Mini Clubman was entered by an elderly couple, probably their daily.  Also sad E38 and silly wheels. Was outside of a bmw garage.

Another Xedos 6! Blue Mica as the one I had 10 years ago. Some pretty poor taste with those Halfords stick on vents all over. Owners got on just as I crossed the road to snap it.

The C124 with ugly C126 front conversion is worth a mention.

Also Lancia Lybra.

Not many sightings today. We are now on Sifnos. Just this 205 Convertible that made it's way all the way from France. Have a photo from Kastro instead, highly recommend staying here.

Great to see some more holiday finds! I think my camera (and head) would explode in Greece. A few there that overlap with what I'm seeing in France (including Kia Sephia, slightly unexpectedly), others that I wouldn't dream of finding here.

Athens really was great. A few more interesting spots from Sifnos below, Santorini will be next. Probably not that much to find there but we'll see.

Work trucks and what I'm sure was another rental 4x4 back in the 90s.

Our bus to Kastro. Love the lettering listing the specs on the back. Probably has been going up and down those hills for decades.

The French 205 in action with it's top down.

And last but not least, the Sifnos taxi fleet (missing two) waiting for new passengers to arrive at the port. Silver diesel W211, W212 and W213 E-Classes of all types.

I bet that's one of the Euro spec 205 Rallyes that had the 1.3 engine with the twin twin chokes, unlike the UK spec single carb 1.4

Early Z3 in a very unusual shade of brown. I originally thought this was the Impala brown very few of these were built in but it's too dark for that. It's not Panama Brown either. Maybe just a repaint? The interior seemed to be a rare color, too.

Today's spots on Santorini:

Rad Honda Elite that's clearly had a rough 40 years.

The K11 Micra seemed like a hot version fallen on hard times, not sure if the Si badge actually indicates anything though.

Vectra As can still be found here and there.

The Mk4 Golf was just another Vag fan abomination.

I'm falling behind. The Cordoba must have belonged to someone living at our stay. The Atos to a member of staff of ancient Theta (highly recommend visiting when you are on Santorini).

Scavenged Civic. Was a really nice spec at some point, leather and a manual. Nothing of value left at this point.

Another first Gen 323F, love to see them all surviving down here.

Also Opel GT.
