Just on my lunch break right now, what excellent pictures. I love things like this, I love the warmth old pictures seem to give off. Loving the Beemers, but both are probably long dead.

A number of the cars were in a friend's garden. The rest were on a farm which has long since been sold. Also on the farm were barns full of classic motorbikes - I remember seeing a Vincent Black Shadow, Ariel Square Four, BSA Bantam, etc...

Love the chromed wheel trims on the 1st gen 5 series, from the days before they were mega-rich. The Dolomites still look good, if only we had made our cars better we could have got away with the over-pricing too.
