MK 2 VW Polo Cheeeep, or maybe even free

Apologies for doing this, as I realise AS is not really a "For Sale" sort of site, but I thought i'd offer it here first, as it might go to someone who will use it

 

Anyway here goes :

 

Alpine White VW Polo CL 1.0, Reg, F435 KMV, MOT ran out December, No Tax.

Work needed for MOT: has a hole on the rear inner sill, by petrol tank, battery tray holed/ rusted through, split CV Gaiter, and a couple of tyres, and probably needs new brakes and discs, plus it's very wet inside at the moment due to the holed battery tray.

 

It has a set of Nice 15" multifit alloys on it, and apart from the stated rust, is pretty damned solid, has a new water pump and rad, and it runs and drives, and has a few spares with it.

It could make a good cheap run around, or if you need it for any parts.

 

I have thought about weighing it in, but to be honest, I think it would be a shame, and i'm not sure how you do it anyway.

 

Take a look at the pics, will give you some idea of what it's like.

I would like £50 for it, just to make me feel better about letting it go, plus i'm out of work at the moment and could use the cash, although if you plead abject poverty, i'll probably let it go for Nowt, other than that, any Q's just ask.

I tried to put this on Polo3, as i'm a member, but I have to Donate a £1 to post it in for sale, and it's not that i'm tight , but I couldn't be faffed with the whole Paypal thing until i'm desperate.

yes but saying that i've had what 10 and only 1 had a bad tray my current one is like new hence why its being looked after abit better

Believe me, I bought it with the "Rims" on it, and if I do get hundreds of calls from " Clueless Goons", i'm really going to struggle with the language barrier, it's taken me 10 years to work out the correct use of " INNIT ", thank Christ I don't use a mobile, it'd take 'till this time next year for me to decipher the text speak.

I don't even like VWs but that's a right bargain for someone. Wheels should fetch £70 on their own so a canny new owner could flog them to pay for MOT work then bosch some steelies on it.I bet if the new owner is a cockwad it'll be running on rusty steels, get painted camo green, have chequered stripes and a roof rack with a bike frame and a fucking wheel-less wheelbarrow on the roof. Or something equally 'original' like that.

I have to say Billy, I love your powers of perception, i've already had a couple of said " Cockwads" contact me, using some surprisingly Human language, but no- one's offered me a Mondeo yet :lol:peter9000ukIf you come up with any ideas how you could take it, let me know, as i'd rather it went to someone who'd appreciate it.
