Partially going thru the Chevette-Gemini site..this is the reply that i got..so the UK is the best place for wing mirrors by the sound of it!Hey..im after wing mirrors..u wouldnt happen have one or two would you..cheers...RAB No sorry, aftermarket seems to be the best bet, original ones are very hard to come by. Do have a single but it's currently on one of my project cars until I decide if I keep it or splash out for some decent after market ones. Passenger side ones are nigh on impossible to find as they were optional extras and early 80s kiwi's were tite with their $$$! CrazytimReason being..cars were REALLY expensive back in them days!

anyone know of any scrappies with any vivas in? (apart from Furbers!)

Couldn't you put a nice Vauxhall 8v engine in? Even the 1.4 I had was good. They 'go straight in' and bolt up with the rwd gearbox. I'd love something like this with a 90's engine in. They even came in carb'd form.

old wifes tale fella...you need a custom sump and pick up pipe, custom exhaust and manifold, custom engine mounts, and it still doesn't mate to the old RWD gearbox in a viva, so one needs a gearbox (for example a manta unit) which also means custom cross member and a custom prop.Hardly "go straight in"
