grizz Posted Wednesday at 16:17 Author Posted Wednesday at 16:17 It seems that I could be wrong about this motor. It could be anything from who knows where. Depending on what question you ask of the not always Intelligent A I Any knowledge or opinions? But it looks decent. . SilverMachine 1

Got to be worth that and cleaning up the plug. It Doesn't seem far off starting. It's coughing on ether. Do you know why it was laid up and will that offer any clues? Assuming you get it running and MoT'd it seems too good to chop up. Either use or sell would be my suggestion. Westbay, SilverMachine and grizz 2 1

Either use or sell would be my suggestion. Morning Fuel drained Fresh three litres added Not opened anything deeper yet. Actually no idea why it was laid up or fell out of use. Also a BMW GS on the drive. MOT means insurance etc. Selling means finding another 200-450 scooter Selling would not profit me much. Nobody wants to pay for shit. I asked the seller his price and agreed to it. Mickey is £50.00 for using his tow car 160 miles into ULEZ. I am hoping to find an adult quad donor next. Jenson Velcro 1

It will be a treasure hunt for parts and an adult quad donor. I will also be a bit of an engineering challenge. Mainly as a distraction from the C10 bodywork. SilverMachine 1
Westbay Posted Friday at 07:32 Posted Friday at 07:32 Bit surprised you need (another) distraction from the C10, you've built-up quite a lot of momentum and progressed well, done some great work (wings 'n door's) think silk purse v sow's ear ! 🙂 Still tea and bikkies to hand ... 'free quad bike' - any farm auctions coming up in your area ? anything down at 'Uncles' ? grizz 1

grizz Posted Friday at 11:43 Author Posted Friday at 11:43 Looking for a dead adult sized quad bike front half. Or the whole thing. Planning to cut it in half but need brakes, wheels up front. The closer to Free, the better. I am in Rochester, Kent area. PM please
Dave_Q Posted Friday at 18:16 Posted Friday at 18:16 Looks like you managed to answer the question, the engine is from Yamaha, same as a YP250 "Majesty" I believe. grizz 1
grizz Posted Friday at 22:06 Author Posted Friday at 22:06 Looks like 200 miles and 4 hours mini trip on Sunday, after bootfair. Milton Keynes and back @Zelandeth £30.00 for three complete Citroen 2 CV front fenders.
93fxdl Posted Friday at 22:07 Posted Friday at 22:07 Looks like you have a carb in need of cleaning, there may also be a fuel pump to flush as well. The history of the aprilia engine is a bit convoluted, looks like they were made by minarelli, which was owned bu Yamaha then taken over by Fantic Ttfn Glenn grizz 1
93fxdl Posted Friday at 22:21 Posted Friday at 22:21 I guess you are looking at a reverse trike, but here's a stupid idea for you Ttfn Glenn grizz 1

grizz Posted 7 hours ago Author Posted 7 hours ago Daytrip done. 5 hours driving, including one hour detour. 205 miles return trip. Three fenders for £10.00 or $13.00 Condition much better than £10.00 or $13.00 should be, but actually perfect because I have to fix the one, reshape them etc So price, including 205 miles at 55 plus mpg probably under £50.00 Back home I unpacked, pressure cleaned and mocked two up I will be using one green and one white one in the build More mocking up soon , GlenAnderson 1
